A Powder Room redesigned…

For a young, stylish couple whom I’ve recently started working with, we all agreed that the first thing- and a space that is often overlooked from a style stand point- was their outdated Powder Room. After purchasing the house, it was stuck in a confused limbo of traditional updates and unguided quick fixes by the previous owner. This is one of those examples with before pics and my plans to turn it into a dynamic space with a few of the finishes that we’re implementing-
I have planned a Water Closet Redux that still maintains the sensibility of the house’s traditional integrity, but infuses my client’s understanding and appreciation of modernity and exciting layers (which you know I love), such as 4″x36″ plank tiles of honed limestone with a gorgeous, linear Gray vein, Navy Phillip Jeffries Hemp wall covering on the ceiling, and abstract Kelly Wearstler for Lee Jofa fabric for a small casual Roman Shade. While the walls are adorned with Graham & Brown’s Ink Blue seemingly traditional Damask with a cheeky twist incorporating hidden silver birds, florals and graceful curves.
I can not wait to share after images to follow with a reminder of what we started with!
Enjoy!
