Imagine rolling through the backwoods of Missouri, winding through the country roads, beautiful trees and livestock flank the quaint towns as you arrive to a sprawling estate set on the most beautiful landscape.  Gated and gorgeous.  This custom home resides on a lake, and that is just the beginning.

CURE Senior Designer Cori Dyer was tasked with designing the expansive lower level, and not make it look like a basement.  Isn’t that what everyone wants in a finished lower level?

Being set on a farm, this lower level is home to many “animals” and by “animals” I mean taxidermy…and a lot of them.  Escalating the “farm” feel of this rustic home through a traditional color palette, adding classic furniture pieces and rustic custom furniture, and hide area rugs, adds texture, layers and a sense of luxury.

Here are a few of our favorite shots that capture the space, Enjoy!

Cori Dyer
After graduating from the University of Missouri, K.C., I spent my days raising our three boys. However, my interest in fashion and interior design kept me reading and taking classes in the design field. After working in a high-end retail fashion store in St. Louis, I realized that putting together assorted fabrics, textures and styles was a passion. After decorating my own home, and those of family, friends, neighbors and co-workers, I realized that my passion and "eye" for fashion work equally well in interior design. I have built some of my strongest relationships through the opportunity of creating spaces for my clients over the years. I will learn your lifestyle and taste, and working with you, I will create a design that exceeds your expectations.
