CURE Designer Halloween Apartment Tour<\/p>\n

Halloween is my all time favorite holiday. \u00a0I can\u2019t wait to throw my first big party in honor of my favorite day in my beautiful\u00a0new apartment. \u00a0Halloween is on a Thursday this year, so I was in conflict over if I should throw a party on the Saturday before or after. \u00a0Most of the big parties in town were being thrown the Saturday before, so I decided to throw ours on Saturday Nov. 2. \u00a0I decided to go with a\u00a0Day of the Dead<\/strong>\u00a0theme parry, as the holiday is traditionally celebrated in Mexico on Nov 1 and 2. Perfect.<\/p>\n

I began my search for the best\u00a0Day of the Dead<\/strong>\u00a0decorations a long time ago.<\/p>\n

Al has been working in Afghanistan and was finally scheduled to be home for good in the beginning of October. \u00a0As I\u00a0mentioned yesterday, he did come home, but we were crushed to learn he had to go back. Like, beyond crushed.<\/p>\n

So, I decided to cancel the party <insert frowny face>. \u00a0After a few days of feeling sorry for myself, I got it together and decided to still decorate my place for \u201cregular\u201d Halloween. \u00a0It\u00a0IS<\/em>\u00a0my favorite holiday after all\u2026.<\/p>\n

So, I present to you, my first holiday decor in the new apartment\u2026.starting with my\u00a0spooky mantel<\/em><\/strong>. I wanted to incorporate the\u00a0Pre-war moldings and mantel<\/strong>\u00a0into the design and came up with some sort of a\u00a0haunted mansion<\/strong>\u00a0vibe??? \u00a0I\u2019m not exactly sure what it is, but I like it, and hope you do too\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
