m_-5828689463273215351galileo-ap-content-editor\">\n<div>\n<div>The\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Yess\u00a0<\/span>family had an existing fenced courtyard with a well-loved pool, hot tub and a fun outdoor bar area.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>However, homeowner,<span class=\"il\">Kari\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"il\">Yess<\/span>, quickly found that a lack of a natural flow between the two spaces and the interior of the home were a barrier to use and the bar seating area was actually too small for hosting friends and family.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>She reached out to\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Cori\u00a0<\/span>Dyer, Senior Designer with Cure Design Group, for her guidance. She contacted past partners, Poynter Landscape, to partner on the project. \u201c<span>I really appreciate Poynter\u2019s professionalism<\/span>,\u201d said\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Cori<\/span>. \u201c<span>When you bring them in on a project, you never have to worry. They walk through once, draw up the project and don\u2019t require additional walkthroughs. It\u2019s wonderful to work with a company that doesn\u2019t require handholding. Now, the fireplace is visible from inside and provides an inviting nighttime scene through the windows. A new fence, retaining wall and plantings provide a screen for the pool equipment.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The family now uses their outdoor spaces twelve months of the year, day and night. The fans in both spaces keep it cool all summer long and insect-free. The hot tub and fireplace extend usage through the cool months. There was quite a bit of coordination with the construction company on timing, but Poynter made it painless. They also did a great a job of working with Town and Country to acquire the different permits and zoning adjustments.
